It's hard to believe it is time to be thinking about the holidays but we are working hard on our annual shop local holiday gift guide featuring local businesses and consultants and we would love for you to be involved this year!
If you don't know Macaroni Kid Fort Lauderdale it’s is a free, hyper-local e-newsletter, and website, full of all of the great kid and family-friendly events going on across the Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas.
The Holiday Gift Guide is a great opportunity to reach a very targeted audience. The gift guide will be sent to over 2400 self-subscribed families, 2000 more on our social platforms and our website sees approximately 2400 page views each month. Majority of our subscribers are parents (moms) with 2 or more children. The Guide will debut on Friday, November 22 (a week before Thanksgiving) in the afternoon and will arrive in our subscriber’s e-mail inboxes just as they are starting to think about Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and their holiday shopping. It will be in the same format as our weekly e-newsletter.
After the November 22 edition, the Guide will remain accessible via a Holiday Gift Guide Side Ad until December 31st. In addition, this Guide will be heavily promoted across our social media pages. Each business will receive an individual Facebook post. Additional posts can be added on for $3 a post which includes a $1 Facebook boost. Participating in this special edition will give your company incredible visibility to families in our area. Each company that participates will receive one feature article highlighting their business including a logo/photo and links to their website and social media sites. Articles must be written by the business or created by Macaroni Kid for an additional $10. This is a great opportunity to highlight new products or any holiday specials you have going on during this time as well as gift certificates for future use, or perhaps a coupon for subscribers! Feel free to think outside the box! Giveaways* are also an option. (I would like the same item in exchange for this add-on.)
This is a wonderful way to advertise your business for the holidays! We're offering this at an early bird rate of $25 if you sign up and payment is received by November 15th. After November 15th the rate will go up to $40. Businesses will be listed alphabetically but we will have PREMIUM PLACEMENT for those businesses who would like to be at the top of the guide. The Premium Placement fee is an additional $25, and we are only offering 3 spots. These spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis!**

- item for me is for promotional purposes for your business throughout the next year. Any time I use the product (i.e. light a PartyLite candle for relaxing) I will snap a photo and share your business on social media again

** Please note - We will only accept one consultant/rep per company (one Mary Kay rep, one Stella & Dot rep, etc.), and this will be on a first come basis. We will however, accept multiples companies that sell similar items (Stella and Dot, Premier Jewelry, Silpada, etc)
