Meet Miss Marie
I am a Florida Native and have here in South Florida since I can remember. Most of my childhood memories are filled with happy adventures, building tree houses and simple games like hopscotch on a summer day. I am happy to have grown up without the technologies of today. I was the popular sweet kid on the block. I always had a group of friends surrounding me and made sure my grades in school were topnotch. I loved going to school so much! I stepped into my first dance class in my freshman year and my heart exploded. Little did I know that dance was going to completely transform my life. I would run to my dance class everyday and was the first one ready to warm up. I would practice all day long and began to make up my own dances.I thought my dream was crushed until my sophomore year during my English class the entire class had to go out and find an internship for our dream job. This was the best news and I found my home studio Ballet Elite Dance Studio in 2004. I found my happy place! I got dance related jobs all over South Florida and taught inside schools and community centers. I have even taught at dance festivals in New York. I teach and inspire my cast members to become leaders by channeling their energy into in a positive way through dance, music and theatre. The objective of the program is to help children build confidence, encourage emotions, maximize potential and teach stage and theatrical education.

I teach on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Fort Lauderdale and have a cast of 60 children combined between my morning and afternoon programs.

Homeschool Theatre - Follow the Yellow Brick Road - 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
This class designed for children to sing dance and act. Vocal Lessons, Hip hop and Contemporary are all included in this two hour class. Fun games and theatrical skills to enhance their character on a real life stage.
Hip Hop Class - 4:30 pm
Come in your most comfortable street clothes to groove it out to the most popular songs. Sneakers are a must to come stomp it out!
Schedule Thursdays
Lyrical / Contemporary - 4:30 pm- ages 8 -12
Flow into emotions, technique and across the floor exercises as the music moves each student in a different way.
Hip Hop Team - 5:30 pm Come in your most comfortable street clothes to groove it out to the most popular songs. Sneakers are must! Come and stomp it out! Perform at the local festivals, Christmas festivals and close out the year performing for the Miami Heat Half Time Show.
