Get to know the natural areas of Broward County Parks. Outdoor activity is good for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. There are a dozen natural areas currently open to the public. Take photos, bird watch, explore habitats, all while maintaining safe social distancing. Entry to the parks is free, seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Broward County's staff of naturalists invite you to participate year-round in such programs as nature hikes, natural area tours, educational classes, environmental workdays, and other special programs and events. There's something for everyone, from children to adults and senior citizens. Some events are held in partnership with community-based groups and environmental agencies. Volunteer opportunities are also available.
