Broward County Public Schools students, parents, staff and community members,
The District is pleased to invite you to a Community Conversation with Superintendent Dr. Peter B. Licata. A series of meetings are scheduled for stakeholders to meet the Superintendent, hear his goals for our schools, and share your feedback and views on our strengths, areas for improvement and ways we can work together to close achievement gaps.
The meetings are free and open to all stakeholders districtwide. Each event begins at 6 p.m., and doors open at 5:30 p.m. Please note no bags, purses or backpacks are permitted inside the venue. The meetings will be livestreamed at www.becon.tv/townhall and will take place as follows:
- Thursday, September 14, 2023 at McNab Elementary School, 1350 S.E. Ninth Ave in Pompano Beach.
- Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Sheridan Technical College, 5400 Sheridan Street in Hollywood, and
- Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Westpine Middle School, 9393 N.W. 50th Street in Sunrise.
Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole and ASL interpreters will be available at each meeting.
