Dear Broward County Public Schools parents and guardians,
The health and safety of our students and staff is the District’s top priority.
As a reminder, per state law and district policy, all students attending public and charter schools be fully vaccinated and have an official immunization form or temporary/medical exemption (Form DH680) from a licensed medical provider on file at their school. Students can also qualify for an exemption based on religious grounds (Form DH681). Proof of vaccination or a qualified exemption must be on file at their school by April 1, 2024 to attend classes or school-related events after that date.
To facilitate the process, BCPS and the Florida Department of Health, Broward will provide FREE vaccinations at select locations from Saturday, March 23rd through Saturday, March 30, 2024. A list of locations, dates, times and required is available at www.browardschools.com/vaccinations. A flyer with the information is also attached to this message and also shown below.
If your student is not yet fully vaccinated or due to receive a booster shot, please use this opportunity to do so. There’s no appointment necessary or insurance required!
